And to that extent, the Actros F supports you with a drivetrain that’s tailored to your job: from the fuel-efficient Euro VI engine — for example the OM 471 of the 3rd generation — to the rear axle with the right gear ratio.

When you choose the Actros F, intelligent driving programs are included as standard. On long-distance routes, the “economy” program increases efficiency and saves fuel. Need maximum performance from your Actros F, for example on inclines? You can activate it with the “power” driving program.
Predictive Powertrain Control
Consume less with foresight.
Whether uphill, downhill, or on a straight stretch: Thanks to Predictive Powertrain Control, you can drive even more efficiently. This is made possible by the satellite-based system and precise 3D maps. The assistance system can identify your current route and adjusts the gear sequence to the upcoming driving situation. This way, you consume up to 5%1 less fuel.
The OM 471
Save while driving.
The good just got better: Thanks to the interaction of the PowerShift Advanced transmission control and the 3rd generation OM 471 engine, your truck is dynamic when starting and precise when manoeuvering. Improvements to the interior also help you save fuel on your routes — and therefore money.

Design and functionality united: with long-lasting LED rear lights, two cab variants — suitable for long-haul or heavy-duty distribution transport — plus roof spoilers and end edge flaps that efficiently direct airflow to reduce consumption.
Comfort

After work, shut down to be well-rested for the next journey: The Actros F driver cabs combine compact space with everything you need. No matter whether you’re driving or taking a break.
One button for central functions: In addition to the light check, with the comfort key you can open, close, lock, and unlock the driver’s and passenger’s doors, the side windows, and the sliding/lifting roof.
Simply press the Start/Stop button and the engine starts or shuts off — as long as the key is no more than two meters away from the Start/Stop button. Get in and drive off, even while the key is still in your pants pocket.
Starting off and securing the truck made easy: When the engine is running, the electronic parking brake of your Actros F is there for you. If you engage "D" or "R", it automatically releases the brake. Press harder on the brake pedal at a red light to activate the hold function.
Interior
Compact but spacious.
While driving, your truck is your logistics hub. And when the workday is over, the Actros F gives you your personal space with numerous storage compartments and drawers, so you don’t have to miss a thing. Above all, the Comfort bunk offers a large reclining surface with 2.20 metres in length for resting after the drive.
Rest and relax on 2.20 metre, 7‑zone cold foam mattresses: so that your nights and breaks are especially restful and you’re fit for your next trip. And if you want even more comfort, you can optionally choose the PremiumComfort multi-zone mattress.
Your Actros F comes standard with all sorts of cleverly designed storage compartments and drawers — just above the windscreen alone, there's up to 247 litres of storage space. Depending on your needs, it can be expanded — with storage space under the bed or a refrigerator with a capacity of 26 litres.
When the drive is over, it's time to live. In your Actros F, the workspace and living area are separated, so you can fully focus on your free time. The interior lighting concept provides pleasant illumination for a cozy atmosphere. That way, you’ll be well-rested for your next trip.

Climate suspension seat
For StreamSpace or BigSpace cabs for long-haul transport, you can individually set up your workstation in the Actros F with ergonomic adjustments, seat heating, and armrests included. The active ventilation system in the seat cushion and backrest ensures good seating climate even on long trips.
Multimedia Cockpit, interactive
More overview at your workplace: The 12.3" instrument cluster and the 10.2" infotainment system Multi-Touch-Display can be easily operated using the multifunction steering wheel with touch control buttons. The two MirrorCam displays on the A-pillars complete the digital cockpit.
Automatic climate control and auxiliary air conditioning
Regulate the climate in your truck intelligently: The automatic climate control adjusts the temperature, air volume, and air distribution automatically to suit the surrounding conditions. If you also choose the auxiliary air conditioning system, you can cool the cab during idle operation for up to eight hours: Quiet and economical.
Safety
Attentive helpers on board.
A variety of safety assistance systems support you on your routes. On motorways and A roads, innovative systems can assist, for example with improved object recognition as well as warning and braking responses.
Safety on both sides as standard: the latest generation of Active Sideguard Assist provides even better support when changing lanes, overtaking and turning in complex situations.
Real-time support: Traffic Sign Assist 2 not only detects speed limits but also no-overtaking zones and warning signs. It compares your current speed with the permissible vehicle speed. If you’re driving too fast, you’ll get both an acoustic and visual warning. This way, Traffic Sign Assist 2 can help protect you not just from fines, but also from accidents.

The Actros F plus delivers top-class functionality and modernity. It is just as reliable as the Actros F, but equipped with premium features in terms of driver workspace and safety: for instance MirrorCam for better visibility and easier manoeuvering, standard LED daytime running and turn indicator lights, or Multimedia Cockpit, interactive.

In addition to the 12 month warranty with unlimited mileage for the complete vehicle, the extended Mercedes‑Benz Trucks warranty extends to 36 months for parts of the drivetrain.
